On 20.04.2026, the following order was passed:- "The petitioner is a complainant in FIR No.65 dated 12.03.2024. In this case that at the instance of the accused named there, he is facing threats on daily basis. The counsel for the State on instructions, submits that the report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C. (Section 193(2) BNSS, 2023) shall be presented against Parambir Singh Dhaliwal, Bobby Khan, Harpreet Singh @ Peeta, Vivek Vats, Gursewak Singh @ Guru and Gurvir Singh @ Guri Gill within next two weeks. Qua the remaining accused, proceedings to declare them proclaimed persons/offenders shall be initiated immediately. For awaiting the outcome, adjourned to 27.05.2026."

In deference to the aforementioned order, warrants of arrest have been taken against Jaspreet Singh Sethi, Jobanjit Singh and Varinder Singh and further proceedings shall continue against them. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with the directions to respondent No.4-Station House Officer, Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nager (Mohali) to ensure protection to the petitioner.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
