**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J This is the second petition filed by the petitioner seeking regular bail in FIR No. 86 dated 23.7.2017 registered at Police Station Bilgha, District Jalandhar Rural under Sections 376-D, 417, 120-B IPC. The first petition was withdrawn in September 2017 as by then challan had not been presented.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that there were no allegations of rape against the petitioner and the victim has already made a statement in the Court and the trial will take time. There are no allegations of rape against the petitioner. The allegations are that his friends took her away on the asking of the petitioner and raped her. Similar statement was made by the victim to the Magistrate. The petitioner is accused of conspiracy. The statement of the victim has been recorded. The trial would take time.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his GURPREET SINGH 2018.08.10 10:44 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
