Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for quashing of order dated 18.05.2007.
At the time of notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 27.08.2012:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was wrongly declared as proclaimed offender and no service was effected upon him as he was away to Canada. The intention of the petitioner was never to avoid the court proceedings or his absence was not willful. Learned counsel for

Notice of motion for 31.10.2012.
In case the petitioner surrenders/appears before the trial Court within one month from today, he shall be released on interim bail to its satisfaction.
Meanwhile, proceedings declaring proclaimed offender be kept in abeyance."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that in pursuance to the above order, petitioner has surrendered before the trial Court and has furnished the necessary bail bonds.
During the course of arguments, it has transpired that the FIR in question has already been quashed by this Court as the parties have amicably settled their dispute. Consequently, the impugned order dated 18.05.2007 is set aside.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
