(Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking quashing of the FIR No. 143 dated 25.12.2024, registered under Sections 115(2), 118(1), 3(5), 118(2), 238 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station Bhadson, Patiala District Patiala (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 28.01.2025 (Annexure P-2). Office report indicates that the complainant appeared on 22.04.2025 and sought more time, however, he did not appear on 28.04.2025.

It appears that the complainant is not ready to suffer any statement before the learned jurisdictional Court regarding the compromise. As such, the present petition is disposed of. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to file a fresh petition in case a genuine compromise is effected between the parties in future.
