The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of appropriate, specific and proper directions to respondent No.2 to protect his life and liberty and to restrain the police officials of police station New Grain Market, Nawanshahr from unnecessary harassing him.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record, especially the representation given by the petitioner to the SSP, Nawanshahr.

The perusal of the representation given by the petitioner shows that it is stated in the representation that the police official harassed them as there is complaint against the son of the petitioner regarding some money transactions and the police officials further told the petitioner that if he will not produce his son before them, then they will falsely implicate petitioner Vineet Gulati 2016.08.08 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CRM No.M-21307 of 2016 -2in some cases. It is also in the representation that petitioner has fear that he may be falsely implicated, without any involvement, in the wrong doing of his disowned son.

At the time of arguments, it is admitted that the complaint has been filed against son of the present petitioner. It is also admitted that police is not calling present petitioner to the police station. If the police officials have come to the petitioner to know the whereabouts of his son, then it does not amount to harassment. In the representation, there are no specific allegations against any police official, as to who is harassing the petitioner.

Therefore, finding no merit in the present petition, the same is dismissed.
