HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C is for grant of interim bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.320 dated 26.12.2019 under Section 22 of the NDPS Act registered at P.S Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur.

The petitioner is accused in the said case. It is not disputed that during investigation, the petitioner was found innocent and an application in this regard was moved by the prosecution before the Court for discharge of the petitioner, however, the same was not accepted. It is the case of the petitioner that he is student of B.Sc (Agriculture) Part IV Semester VII having Roll No.12880. The examination are scheduled to commence from 12.3.2019 to 19.3.2019. The fact of examination being so scheduled has not been denied.

CRM-M-11316 of 2019 #2# petitioner is directed to be enlarged on interim bail for the period from 12.3.2019 to 20.3.2019 subject to his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate concerned. On the expiry of the period aforesaid, the petitioner shall surrender to the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate concerned.
