       The issues raised by the petitioner in the present petition were raised by the petitioner in Civil Writ Petition No. 30026 of 2022 which was disposed of by this Court on 12.01.2023 on the statement being made by learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab that the respondent-authorities would take a decision on the petitioner's representation and the issues raised by it expeditiously in accordance with law. Evidently, though the second petition is not maintainable on the same grounds and issues, the filing of the present petition is because of inaction on the part of the respondent-authorities. Learned Assistant Advocate General appearing for the respondent-State of Punjab on instructions from Mr. Rajneesh, Law Officer, Department of Higher Education, Punjab submits that the concerned authority is in the process of taking a decision on the petitioner's representation and they will do so at the earliest preferably within a period of one week from today.

In view of the statement made by learned Assistant Advocate General, Punjab and taking the same on record, the petition stands disposed of.
