**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 60 dated 28.9.2017 registered at Police Station Women Police Station, Panipat under Sections 376, 328, 506 IPC and Section 3 of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody since October 2017 and the complainant and the prosecutrix have been examined. He also states that there were talks of marriage and a panchayat was also convened but the father of the prosecutrix had put two conditions that they would get a house constructed and also pay Rs. 5.00 lacs and they had got a separate house constructed. Counsel further submits that it was a case of consent and the girl was major. Copy of the panchayat proceedings have been placed on record.

The statement of the complainant and the victim have already been recorded.
