The petitioner, who is undergoing sentence of life imprisonment, having been convicted in a matter arising out of FIR No.21 dated 09.02.2021, Police Station Women West, Gurugram, under Section 376(2)(n) of IPC later on converted to Section 6 of POCSO Act, 2012, seeks parole on the ground that his wife is in the family way and the expected date of delivery is 21.03.2025. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had moved representation dated 24.02.2025 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.4-Superintendent of Jail, District Gurugram, but the same has not been decided.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and upon finding that no order has been passed on the representation (Annexure P-1) moved by the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to the authorities concerned to dispose of the representation (Annexure P-1) expeditiously preferably within a period of one week from today.

A copy of this order be immediately sent to respondent No.4Superintendent of Jail, District Gurugram, for necessary compliance.
