 This appeal under section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 filed by the insurance company is directed against the award dated 04.02.2000 passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal awarding a sum of Rs. 50,000/4 as compensation along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum in favour of respondent No.1 Paramjit Kaur on account of no fault liability under section 140 of the Motor Vehicles Act. Concededly the awarded amount has paid to the claimant4 respondent No.1 and thus we do not find any good ground to continue with this appeal any further after about 19 years for a meager sum of Rs.50000/4 paid under no fault liability.

Appeal accordingly stands dismissed.
