At the outset, State's counsel submits that in paragraph 15 of the petition, the petitioner has stated that he is involved in two more cases whereas as per the reply and custody certificate, 8 more cases have been detected against him. Upon this, counsel for the petitioner wants to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file a fresh petition. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, having been withdrawn, with liberty as prayed. All pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of. It is clarified that in case the petitioner files a fresh petition, there shall be no need to file a fresh power of attorney or seek fresh reply and the present power of attorney and reply would be suffice.
