Mr. Maninder Arora, Advocate, for the petitioner. ***** SUDHIR MITTAL, J. (ORAL) It is submitted that FIR No.36, dated 29.01.2023 was registered at Police Station Zirakpur, SAS Nagar Mohali, under Sections 379-B, 323, 336, 341, 452, 506 & 34 IPC and Sections 25 & 27 of Arms Act, 1959 (Annexure P-1) after a complaint was submitted by the petitioner. However, the police has not taken any appropriate action thereafter. The accused persons are continuing to threaten the petitioner. Subsequent representation dated 02.03.2023 (Annexure P-7) has also been submitted but without any result.

Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 5 only. Mr. Harkanwar Jeet Singh, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice and waives service.

Considering the nature of the order being passed no reply is necessary The petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to decide the pending representation dated 02.03.2023 (Annexure P-7) by passing a speaking order within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
