**** ANITA CHAUDHRY, J The petitioner is seeking regular bail in FIR No. 25 dated 17.3.2018 registered at Police Station Lopoke, District Amritsar Rural under Sections 354-B, 341, 506, 323, 34 IPC.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner is in custody since 27.3.2018 and investigation is over and challan has been presented. Counsel further states that the petitioner is working in Ludhiana and no such incident had happened and there was a scuffle with the family and false allegations have been levelled.

The allegations against the petitioner are that he had caught hold of the arm of the complainant when she was going to the village on foot and threatened to put acid on her.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that they are ready to give any undertaking.

Without commenting anything on the merits of the case and considering the fact that the trial will take time to conclude, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court/Duty Magistrate with the condition that he would not enter the village till the trial is over. The undertaking be given while furnishing bonds before the trial Court/Duty Magistrate.
