The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to decide the representation (Annexure P-1) made by the petitioner on 23.04.2023 for obtaining the call details of respondent No.5 and conducting free and fair investigation. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that son of the petitioner went missing on 03.04.2023 after he was called by respondent No.5 and thereafter, his phone was switched off and almost one year is passed, he did not return back. A complaint in this regard was also filed before the concerned SHO on 25.04.2023 but till date, no action has been taken thereon. It is further contended that the petitioner will be satisfied in case his representation dated 23.04.2023 (Annexure P-1) is decided in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice of the official respondents and on instructions from HC Sabar Khan submits that the representation given by the PANKAJ KUMAR 2024.03.14 19:15 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

  petitioner will be looked into and necessary action will be taken thereon in accordance with law within a period of four weeks. 4.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, I dispose of this petition with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to look into the representation (Annexure P-1) given by the petitioner and decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
