SABINA, J Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.229 dated 06.06.2015, under Sections 417, 419, 420 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station 'A' Division, District Amritsar. While issuing notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 29.06.2015:- " Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that allegation against the petitioner is of helping the main accused Rajesh Sharma who has misused the cheques. No case under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act was filed by the petitioner. Occurrence is stated to have taken place in the year 2008, whereas, complaint has been filed in 2012 and thereafter, FIR has been registered on 06.06.2015. Notice of motion for 17.08.2015.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, petitioner shall be admitted to interim bail, subject to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer. However, petitioner shall abide by the conditions incorporated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C."

Learned State counsel who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Rajinder Singh has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for further investigation.

Accordingly, interim bail granted by this Court to the petitioner vide order dated 29.06.2015, is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
