  JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for the release of the detenues mentioned in Para 4 of the petition, who were illegally detained by respondents No.4 to 6.

The learned State counsel has filed the reply by way of an affidavit dated 19.03.2024 of the District Magistrate, Sonipat, which is taken on record. While referring to the said reply, the learned State counsel contends that a team of members headed by the Tehsildar, Ganaur inspected the brick kiln mentioned in the petition and recorded the statements of the witnesses. As per the report, the persons mentioned in the petition were not found at the spot and there was no situation of bonded labour at the said brick kiln. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

The petition stands disposed of.
