1. The present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the action of the respondents authorities in rejecting the name of the petitioner for the post of Hindi (Master Cadre). 2. Learned counsel would contend that the petitioner, who was an aspirant to the appointment for the post of Hindi (Master Cadre), was in the provisional selected list, however, in the column of status, the result was shown to be withheld. However, in the final list, his name does not figure and there is no plausible reason that had been conveyed to the petitioner on the ground of which, she has been non-suited. In this regard, a legal notice dated 10.02.2024, Annexure P-7, has been served upon respondents, which has yet not evoked any response.
He thus, at this stage, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is sanguine of it being considered in a positive manner, in case, a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner by granting her an opportunity of hearing.
