HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Prayer is for grant of eight weeks' parole to the petitioner. The petitioner, who is undergoing imprisonment in case FIR No.13 dated 01.02.2015 under Section 21 of the NDPS Act, registered at P.S Maqsudan, District Jalandhar, submitted an application dated 15.1.2019 (P.1) to the Superintendent Central Jail, Bathinda seeking release on parole to enable him to get his house repaired and also meet his family members but no decision as yet has been conveyed to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are specific Instructions issued in this regard as per which such application for grant of parole/furlough is to be considered and decided within the prescribed time.
