SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) This petition is for seeking protection of life and liberty of petitioners, who alleged to have married against the wishes of respondents No.4 and 5, father and relative of petitioner No.2. Learned counsel for the petitioners has limited his prayer for taking appropriate action in accordance with law on the representation dated 06.06.2015 (Annexure P-5) made by petitioner No.1. It has been stated that both the petitioners are major. The date of birth of petitioner No.1-Gurpreet Kaur is 26.06.1991 as per copy of Secondary School Examination Certificate (Annexure P-1) and that of petitioner No.2Amninder Singh Jhajj is 04.12.1991 as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate (Annexure P-2). They allegedly got married on 04.06.2015. Photographs of marriage are Annexure P-4. However, it is made clear that this order will have no effect on the validity of alleged marriage of the petitioners or on any other civil or criminal proceedings instituted against them.
