This application has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 482 Cr.P.C) for placing on record an application dated 14.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner to the Police Commissioner, Sonipat as Annexure P-8.

For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and Annexure P-8 is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. CRWP-2332-2026 1.
This petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to ensure effective protection of the life and personal liberty of the petitioner by providing adequate security/police security to the petitioner as the petitioner has been facing serious death threats. It is also prayed for issuance of direction for proper consideration and decision of
-2the application dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) submitted by the petitioner seeking police protection.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is facing continuous threats from an organized gang and attacks have also been made on his house as well as his business premises. He further submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation/complaint dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Sonipat, but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel also submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Sonipat to look into the aforesaid representation/complaint dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) and take appropriate steps in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Jangra, AAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. He, upon instructions, submits that an FIR has been registered at the behest of the petitioner against three accused and they have also been arrested. 5.
I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Sonipat, to consider and decide the representation/complaint dated 06.08.2025 (Annexure P-6) of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. It is also directed that, in case there is
-3any threat perception to the petitioner, adequate security be provided to him in accordance with law, and in case he applies for an arms licence, the same shall also be considered in accordance with law.
