The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondent No.4 to 12. The petitioners have earlier approached this Court by way of CRM-M No.15565 of 2016, which was disposed of with the directions to respondent No.2 to take necessary steps to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner from the private respondents. Thereafter, statement of respondents No.4 and 8 were recorded to the effect that they would not interfere with married life of the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that since the petitioner No.2 has started working in Jalandhar and respondents No.5 and 8 have started extending threats to his life. Regarding this, the petitioners have submitted representation dated 14.06.2016 (Annexure P-8) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural).
