(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the entire arrears of rent have since been deposited. Learned counsel for the petitioner further states that the petitioner would continue to deposit the future rent/compensation for the use and occupation of the premises in question @ Rs.1000/- per month by the 7th of every month. Learned counsel for the respondent states that the arrears of rent have been deposited by the petitioner in Court and the respondent is still to receive the said amount.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to the petitioner to hand over vacant possession of the premises in question to the respondent by 01.11.2023. Meanwhile, the petitioner shall pay to the respondent the future rent/compensation for the use and occupation of the premises in question by the 7th of every month. It is made clear that in case there is any default in the payment of the future rent/compensation for the use and occupation of the premises in question, the present petition shall be deemed to have been dismissed and JITENDER KUMAR 2022.08.03 11:50 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Chandigarh
