(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail in case FIR No.243 dated 19.08.2020 under Sections 21 of the NDPS Act & 25 of Arms Act registered at Police Station Shahkot, District Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a special person with 40% disability and he further submits that instead of arguing the matter on merits, he would be contended and satisfied, in case a direction be issued to the concerned learned trial Court to expedite the trial.

The prayer being innocuous, the same is allowed. Given above, the petitioner being a special person with 40% disability, this Court requests the learned trial Court to expedite the trial and try to complete it on or before 23.12.2022. The accused shall not seek any adjournment and if does, the time may extend by three months on every request.

The present petition is disposed of. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed of. The petitioner to inform the concerned trial Court.
