Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that husband of petitioner namely Ranjit Singh has been involved in NDPS Act case by respondent No.4, who is posted as Incharge, Police Post Kot Mit Singh, Amritsar. She has grouse against him and has made a representation (Annexure P-1) to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar for handing over the investigation to some other police officer.
Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the representation (Annexure P-1) made by the petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of four weeks on receipt of copy of this order.
