Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioner from the hands of local police, i.e. respondents No.3 and 4. 2.

Precise submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner is that petitioner is facing prosecution in FIR No.151, dated 09.07.2012, under Sections 21/29-61-85 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station City Kapurthala, District Kapurthala and there is no other case pending against him, however, respondent No.4 is harassing him without any rhyme and reason.
