The petitioner, by filing the present petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeks grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 120 of 21.09.2018, which was registered against him, at Police Station Bassi Pathana, District Fategarh Sahib, constituting therein an offence under Section 22 of NDPS Act. 2.

The learned State Counsel, has, on instructions, meted to him by the Investigating Officer (IO) concerned, made a submission, before this Court, that the bail applicant has been acquitted by the learned Special Court concerned.

Consequently, the present petition has become infructuous, and, is disposed of as such.
