**** GURMIT RAM, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. is for issuance of a direction to the official respondents to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass them at the instance of respondent Nos. 4 to 9.

The petitioners have got married against the wishes of their parents. They are stated to be major. In support of her proof of age petitioner No.1 has placed on record a photocopy of School Certificate (Matriculation Examination) (Annexure P-1) wherein the date of her birth is mentioned as 1.3.1995, whereas petitioner No. 2 has placed on record a photocopy of School Certificate (Matriculation Examination) (Annexure P-2) wherein his date of birth is mentioned as 4.2.1992. They have also moved a representation (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.2 for protection of their lives and liberty.

Without adverting to the merits of the controversy, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to take GURPREET SINGH 2016.06.25 11:00 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
