**** RITU BAHRI, J. (Oral) Petitioner is seeking directions to the respondents to investigate FIR No.96 dated 27.11.2014 under Section 306 IPC, registered at Police Station Haibowal, Ludhiana, which was got registered by him for abetment to suicide caused by the accused persons to her deceased daughter Narinder Kaur, who was earlier also victim in the case got registered, vide FIR No.55 dated 08.04.2012, under Sections 363, 366 and 376 IPC, registered at Police Station Shimlapuri, against the same accused persons. On notice, reply has been filed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Gill-Rural), Ludhiana on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 stating therein that after registration of the FIR No.96 dated 27.11.2014, under Section 306 IPC, at Police Station Haibowal, District Ludhiana, the investigation was carried out and as per the inquiry report (Annexure RNaresh Kumar 2016.10.19 09:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

CRM-M-20901-2015 -21/T), the accused had not threatened, abused or insulted the petitioner and her daughter. Therefore, the cancellation report has been prepared in this case.

Learned State counsel has informed that the said cancellation report has been approved by the Commissioner of Police and the same shall be presented before the trial Court, within a period of two weeks. Keeping in view the above, the present petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate steps, in accordance with law.
