Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the action of respondents in not granting the petitioners benefit of same pay scale equivalent to other Technical Assistants in the same Department.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioners submitted that instead of pressing the present petition on merits, his clients would be satisfied in case the representations dated 31.01.2022 & 21.02.2022 (P-14 & 15) are decided expeditiously. Notice of motion to that limited extent.

Ms. Kanika Sachdeva, AAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and raises no objection against the innocuous prayer of the petitioners. In view of the agreed stand taken by both sides, but without going into the merits of the controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with SANJAY GUPTA 2022.04.02 15:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document -1-
