There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. 2.
The petitioners had approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect their life and liberty as they apprehended threat to the same at the hands of respondents No.4 to 12. 3.
While issuing notice of motion on 17.3.2020, the following order was passed:
"The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that son of the petitioners had solemnized an inter-caste marriage with Vaishali daughter of respondent No.4 namely Sat Pal but the family of said Vaishali did not accept the marriage
( 2 ) and have been continuously threatening the petitioners with dire consequences and had broken into the house of the petitioners and had ransacked the same.
The learned counsel has further submitted that infact at one point of time, the petitioners' son and Vaishali had also approached this Court by way of filing CRWP No. 2017 of 2020 wherein certain directions have been issued to the police but despite the same, the private respondents who are desperate type of persons are threatening to cause harm to the petitioners.
Notice of motion for 25.3.2020.
The private respondents i.e. respondents No. 4 to 12 are directed to appear in person in this Court. In the meantime, respondent No. 2 shall examine the threat perceptions and shall visit the premises of the petitioners and submit a detailed report in this regard and shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners in the meantime."

The State has filed its reply, which is accompanied by a copy of statement of the petitioner No.1, which reads as follows:
"Statement of Sh. Mukesh Chand son of Hans Raj, resident of village Chandiani Khurd, police station Pojewal, Phone No.97816-95195.
Stated that I am resident of aforementioned address. I and my son Lovekush have moved complaints to higher officials, regarding damaging our house hold articles. The said complaints were moved by us while we were not at our home. Today, I along with my wife Shashi Bala have visited our house and checked all the house hold articles and found all the articles laying in the house intact and I am satisfied. I do not want any action upon the complaints moved by me
( 3 ) and by my family members. The complaints moved by us may be consigned. I am suffering this statement in the presence of my wife Shashi Bala. Statement has been got recorded by me and same is read over me and I have admitted the contents of the same as correct." 5.
