This is a petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No. 16 dated 09.02.2013 registered at police station Jalalabad.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has argued that earlier private respondents had agreed to compromise the matter. Later on, they resiled. Intervention of this court is, thus, necessary in view of Annexure P-2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners. Allegation against the petitioners is that they took about `28.00 lacs from the complainant with the promise to send them to USA. However, they were sent to Nicaragua from where they had to come back. Allegations in the FIR are serious in nature. Admittedly, investigation is also pending. This court is of the considered view that investigation needs to be taken to its logical end. Petition is, thus, without any merit and is hereby dismissed.
