H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Under Section 9 of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 only District Judge, where the minor actually resides has got jurisdiction to entertain and try the petition for custody of the minor. Therefore, the applicant is relegated to the remedy of approaching the trial Court, moving appropriate application in that regard. The trial Court shall dispose of that application expeditiously.

However, if the applicant still feels aggrieved, he is at liberty to approach this Court again.
