(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No.3 dated 04.01.2020 under Sections 420, 120-B IPC registered at Police Station Sector 19, Chandigarh. Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that the petitioner is in custody in the said matter, however, vide interim order dated 08.05.2020, he had been allowed interim bail subject to the condition that the petitioner would deposit an amount of Rs.50 lakhs with the trial Court at the time of furnishing bail/surety bonds and another sum of Rs.45 lakhs each with the trial Court on or before 10.08.2020 and 10.11.2020 respectively. There was a rider that in default thereof, the interim bail would be cancelled.

Counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has complied with the order dated 08.05.2020 by depositing Rs.95 lakhs with the trial Court and has also deposited his passport at the time of furnish bail bonds. CRM-M No.11155 of 2020 (O&M) -2custody of the petitioner would no longer be required. Counsel for the respondent-State on instructions from Inspector Krishan Kumar admits to the factum of deposit of Rs.95 lakhs and deposit of the passport with the trial Court.

In view of the aforementioned fact, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 08.05.2020 granting interim bail to the petitioner is confirmed.
