# Allegations against the petitioner in this petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.163 dated 13.12.2014 registered at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur under Section 420 IPC are that on 16.01.2014, he along with his co8accused/non8applicant Mukesh Kumar have duped Kulwinder Singh, Sona Singh, Balwinder Singh and Harjinder Singh of 12.50 lacs on the pretext of their selection in the Indian Army as RATTAN PAL SINGH 2015.07.21 16:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court



 

 Recruits and had issued fake Admit Cards and Seals when the victims were caught at the time of appearance in the examination. The contentions of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is co8villager of complainant persons and rather has been instrumental in helping them in lodging the FIR and that he was earlier found innocent during investigations. However, learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Pawan Kumar submits that at no point of time the petitioner was ever found innocent and he opposes grant of bail to the petitioner. Keeping in view the seriousness of offences and the fact that custodial interrogation of the petitioner will be required, the order dated 24.02.2015 whereby arrest of the petitioner was stayed, is hereby recalled and finding no merit, the petition stands dismissed. "
