This petition has been filed under Section 482 read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.01 dated 15.01.2025, registered under Sections 316(2), 61(2) of BNS, 2023, at Police Station NRI (Rural), Jalandhar District Jalandhar. 2.

On 19.03.2025, the following order was passed:- "In compliance of order dated 04.03.2025, status report by way of an affidavit dated 18.03.2025 of Satinder Kumar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, SubDivision NRI, Jalandhar, on behalf of respondent-State, has been filed in Court today, and the same is taken on record.

Learned State counsel has reiterated the allegations levelled in the FIR in question that the petitioner, who was working as a house help of deceased, Hari Chand, had withdrawn different sums of money from the account of deceased, totalling Rs.14 lakhs. Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sandeep Kaur, has not disputed the submissions made by the counsel for the petitioner that out of Rs.14 lakhs allegedly withdrawn by the petitioner after MOHD YAKUB 2025.07.22 13:38 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CRM-M-12017-2025 forging the signatures of the deceased, Rs.12 lakhs, which were lying deposited in the bank account of the petitioner, had been frozen, leaving only Rs.2 lakhs with the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to provide specimen handwriting samples of the petitioner to the Investigating Agency during the course of investigation.

Adjourned to 21.07.2025.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and appear before the investigating agency as and when called upon to do so. In the event of her arrest, she shall be admitted to interim bail on her furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) of the BNSS, 2023."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Sandeep Kaur, at the very outset, informs the Court that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. 4.

In view of the statement of learned State counsel, order dated 19.03.2025 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973). 5.

The petition stands disposed of.
