This is a petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 164 dated 01.12.2014 under Sections 15 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Darshan Singh, who is present in court, at the outset submits that recovery effected in the occurrence was 1 Qtl. and 171⁄2 Kgs of poppy husk. According to him, petitioner and his accomplices are suppliers of poppy husk. Besides, petitioner has been declared a proclaimed offender.

In view of above, no case for grant of pre-arrest bail is made out. Dismissed.
