(ORAL) The prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 160 dated 10.05.2016 for the offence under Sections 392/323/452 IPC, registered at Police Station Civil Lines, District Amritsar, lateron Sections 342/352/354/394/454/457/458 IPC has also been added. Petitioner is in custody since 19.07.2016. The co-accused of the petitioner has already been granted regular bail vide order dated 06.02.2017 passed by this Court in CRM-M-44995-2016.
Learned State counsel submits that out of 7 witnesses, one has been examined.
Keeping in view the above and considering the fact that trial is not likely to mature in near future, petitioner be released on regular bail on furnishing his fresh bail bonds/sureties to the satisfaction of Duty Magistrate/Illaqa Magistrate, Amritsar.
