(Oral) The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondents no. 2 and 3 to protect life and liberty of petitiones at the hands of respondents no. 4 to 11. Further prayer is made for issuance of direction to respondent no. 3 not to harass the petitioners and family members of petitioner no. 2 at the instance of respondents no. 4 to 11.

Learned State counsel has filed the reply by way of affidavit of Sh. Kirpal Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Fatehgarh Churian, District Batala and submits that that statements of both the petitioners have been recorded that presently they do not have any threat perception. In view of the above, no further indulgence of this Court is required and the instant petition is disposed of as such. The passport of petitioner no. 2 deposited with the Registry be returned to him immediately.
