(ORAL) This Court was pleased to pass the following order on 23.05.2018:- "This is a petition which has been filed under Section 438 of Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 10 dated 21.03.2018 under Sections 498-A, 406 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Women Cell, Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda primarily dismissed the bail application on the ground that recoveries had yet to be effected. It is stated that subsequent order dated 11.05.2018 is of son of the petitioner i.e. the husband of the complainant who has been granted regular bail and that recoveries have been effected.

Meanwhile, in the event of arrest, the petitioners be released on interim bail subject to his furnishing personal bonds and surety to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioners shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the said order the petitioners have joined the investigation. Learned counsel for the respondent-State, on instructions from ASI Jagsir Singh, confirms the factum of joining investigation by the petitioners.

Since the petitioners have joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 23.05.2018 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioners will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation; will not leave India without permission of the Court and will comply with the conditions contained in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
