The petitioners have a statutory alternative remedy under Section 28-A(3) of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 against the order passed by the Land Acquisition Collector. Further, the order, in question, was passed around five years back.

In view of the above, no ground is made out to entertain the present writ petition. Hence, the present writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners shall have the liberty to avail an alternative remedy. (Anil Kshetarpal) Judge April 27, 2022 "DK"
