RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3 to stop further enquiries in FIR No. 74 dated 16.04.2017 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Navi Baradari, District Jalandhar, in contravention to the instruction/order dated 14.01.2009 (Annexure P-9).
Learned State counsel has filed reply on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 5 in Court today. The same is taken on record. Office to tag the same at the appropriate place. As per averments made in the reply, learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, as challan has already been presented in the trial Court on 07.12.2017 and the next date of hearing is 02.01.2018.
In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
