RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and other family members at the hands of private respondents, as they are threatening the petitioner to kill them and further to take action against the private respondents. It has been submitted by counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner would be satisfied if her representation, dated 18.02.2023, Annexure P-2, is decided in a time-bound manner. Notice of motion to official respondents only. On asking of the Court, Mr.Sandeep Kumar, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/State. After hearing the counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e. the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib, to look into the representation and decide the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of one month from today.
