Ms. Dksha Verma, Advocate for respondents No.4 to 8. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking quashing of FIR No.0062 dated 5.5.2018, Police Station City Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural, under Sections 307, 323, 148, 149 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act on grounds of compromise. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the FIR came to be lodged under some misunderstanding and infact it is a case of cross-case. It has further been submitted that no offence under Section 307 IPC is made out and that although a representation dated 20.6.2018 (Annexure P-6) had been submitted to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural, but the same has not been PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.04.06 15:43 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and while bearing in mind the fact that the investigation is still stated to be pending, the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar Rural to look into the matter and to dispose off the representation dated 20.6.2018 (Annexure P-6) expeditiously in accordance with law.
