Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, Varinder Kumar @ Soni, who has been booked for having committed the offences punishable under Sections 120-B,148, 302, 323 and 324 read with Section 149, IPC, in a case arising out of FIR No.161, dated 30.11.2014,, registered at Police Station, Division No.7, Jalandhar.
Learned counsel contends that the matter was reported to the police after three days of the occurrence; in the FIR, the name of the petitioner did not figure and that after about one month of the occurrence, supplementary statement of one Lucky @ Sandhu was recorded in which the participation of the petitioner was disclosed.

In the supplementary statement which is in continuation of the previous statement, it has emerged that the petitioner had caused an injury on the shoulder of the deceased by means of a baseball bat.
No ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made out.
