The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent Nos.4 and 5. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the petitioners would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to decide their representation dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P1).

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P-1) and if any threat perception is found, to take appropriate action in accordance with law.
