The petitioner herein is an insurance company. The correctness of an interlocutory order passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal permitting the claimant (insured) to amend the petition filed under Section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, has been challenged. 2.
In the claim petition, the claimant has submitted that the offending vehicle (car) was coming from the back side, whereas now he wishes to amend the petition to assert that the offending car was coming from the front side. In this case, the incident was reported by Sh.Surjit Singh (first informant). He has also stated that the vehicle was coming from the front side and not from the back side. In such circumstances, the Tribunal has only permitted the claimant to amend the petition. The parties are yet to lead the evidence and prove their respective case before the DEEPAK KUMAR BHARDWAJ 2022.12.14 10:45 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Tribunal.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, no ground is made out to interfere with the impugned order. Hence, the present revision petition is dismissed.
