This revision petition has been filed by the former husband of the respondent No.1 against the order passed by the Court directing him to pay ₹13,000/- per month as maintenance pendente lite to his wife and child till the disposal of the divorce petition.

Admittedly, the decree of divorce has been granted in a petition filed by the wife.

The Court has only assessed the maintenance pendente lite @ ₹13,000/- per month for the wife and the child which does not appear to be excessive. In any case, it was payable only during the pendency of the divorce petition which has not been decided.
