RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner - Jasvir Singh - in a case arising from FIR No.96 dated 04.10.2016 registered under Sections 302, 120-B and 149 IPC (Offence under Sections 302, 120-B and 149 IPC was deleted and challan was filed under Section 306 IPC) at Police Station Ghagga, District Patiala.
At the outset, learned State counsel admits that the complainant PW1 has turned hostile.
Considering above factual position, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition is allowed. Consequently, petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on his furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds, to the satisfaction of Trial Court/Duty Magistrate concerned.
