Bhupinder Gupta v. Pawanjit Singh
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH FAO No. 2031 of 2000 DATE OF DECISION :- 08.12.2025 Bhupinder Gupta ...Appellant
Versus
Pawanjit Singh
...Respondent
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIRINDER AGGARWAL Present:- None for the appellant.
Mr. Suvir Dewan, Advocate for respondent No. 3. *** VIRINDER AGGARWAL , J. (Oral) 1.
This is a fully burnt case. The appeal pertains to the year 2000 and is a very old matter. No one has appeared on behalf of the appellant. Only counsel for respondent No. 3 is present. It seems that appellant is not interested in pursuing the instant appeal.
2.
In view of the above and given the prevailing circumstances, there seems to be no justification to keep the appeal on the docket, indefinitely. Accordingly, the instant appeal stands dismissed for want of prosecution with liberty to the appellant to revive the same, if have any grievance from this order, within a period of three months from today.
3.
Since the main appeal stands decided, the miscellaneous application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
