(ORAL) Present writ petition has been filed for directing respondents No.5 and 6, especially respondent No.6 to sanction the mutation of land in favour of the petitioners on the basis of order dated 31.05.2011 (Annexure P-2) passed by respondent No.5 as more than 13 years have been passed since the passing of the order but till date the revenue authorities have not updated the revenue record by sanctioning the mutation in favour of the petitioners inspite of the fact that petitioners have deposited the compensation/amount as calculated by the revenue authorities much earlier.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that for the redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have already filed a representation dated 10.02.2021 (Annexure P-5) before respondent No.5 but no action has been taken on the same till date. On asking of the Court, Mr. Navneet Singh, Sr. DAG, Punjab appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. He submits that the representation filed by the petitioners would be decided expeditiously.

In view of the above position, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 i.e. SDM, Amloh, District Fatehgarh Sahib to look into the representation of the petitioners dated 10.02.2021 (Annexure P-5) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
